We provide written estimates, and the quoted price reflects the agreed scope of work. Estimates are valid for the period stated on the document. If site conditions, materials, or project scope change after the estimate is issued, including hidden or unforeseen conditions discovered once work begins, pricing may be adjusted. Any change to the agreed scope or price will be communicated to you in writing before additional work proceeds.
4. Scope of Work and Contracts
The specific terms of any project, including scope, materials, timeline, pricing. Payment schedule will be set out in a separate written agreement or work order signed by both parties. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and a signed project agreement, the signed project agreement governs that project.
5. Payment Terms
Payment terms, deposits, and schedules will be specified in your project agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due according to the milestones or completion dates stated in that agreement. Late payments may be subject to additional charges as permitted by law. We accept the payment methods indicated at the time of contract.
6. Scheduling and Timelines
We provide a projected completion date before work begins and make every reasonable effort to meet it. However, timelines may be affected by factors beyond our control, including weather, material availability, permit processing, inspections, or unforeseen site conditions. We will keep you informed of any changes to the schedule.
7. Permits, Violations, and Compliance
Where a project requires permits or involves clearing NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) or other municipal violations, we will perform the work to the applicable specifications. Responsibility for permit fees, filing, and related costs will be set out in your project agreement. While we manage the work and process to applicable standards, final approval, inspection outcomes. Violation clearance are determined by the relevant city agencies and aren’t solely within our control.
8. Workmanship and Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our work. Any workmanship warranty, including its duration and coverage, will be stated in your project agreement. Manufacturer warranties on materials (such as roofing membranes, shingles, or other products) are provided by the respective manufacturers and are subject to their terms. Warranties don’t cover damage resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, alterations by others, acts of nature, or failure to perform recommended maintenance.
9. Insurance and Licensing
Grace Roofing & Concrete Contractor Corp carries general liability and workers’ compensation insurance, and is licensed in the State of New York. Proof of insurance and licensing is available upon request prior to the start of any project.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grace Roofing & Concrete Contractor Corp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of this Site or from our services, except as expressly provided in a signed project agreement or as required by applicable law. Our total liability for any claim related to a project shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that project, except where prohibited by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can’t be excluded under New York law.
11. Site Conditions and Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate information about your property and for ensuring reasonable access to the work site. You agree to disclose any known conditions, hazards, or restrictions that may affect the work. Grace isn’t responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from inaccurate information or undisclosed conditions.
